Overview
Dance examination syllabus created in the summer of 1979 by Canadian dance professionals Brian and Faye Foley, with tap and jazz guidelines first, examinations from autumn 1980, and a ballet syllabus added in 1991 based on the Vaganova technique of Russia's Kirov Ballet. Now used by over 175 dance studios in Canada and internationally (USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia); recognised by some Canadian provincial education boards for high-school credit.
