Overview
National professional organisation of dancers of all ethnic groups in China, founded in 1949 and a member body of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Reports over 10,000 individual members and 38 group members across provinces and municipalities. Administers the China Dance "Lotus Award", the China Dance Festival and the "Dazzling Little Lotus" children's showcase, and maintains specialist committees including Chinese classical dance and Chinese ethnic and folk dance.
