Overview
Irish cultural movement with branches worldwide. Its Coiste Rince (Dance Committee) "advise and promote all Irish traditional dance forms" - the organisation names step dancing, set dancing, céilí dancing, sean-nós dancing and traditional dance - and it runs 44 annual Fleadhanna Cheoil with nine categories of dance competition covering set, céilí and sean-nós dancing. This is the principal body governing competitive set dancing and sean-nós dancing separately from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha.
