Overview
Flamenco competition organised by the Instituto Municipal de Artes Escenicas (IMAE) of the Ayuntamiento de Cordoba and held at the Gran Teatro de Cordoba; the twenty-fourth edition was held in 2025. Known as "el concurso de los concursos". Awards prizes in four categories: cante, baile, guitarra and a prize for flamenco instrumentalists. The competition page at teatrocordoba.es/cnaf describes it as "Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco en Cordoba desde 1956". Recorded as 1956 with one caveat: that phrase appears in the page metadata rather than in body prose, and the page does not say in words that the first edition was held that year.
