Overview
Foundation established in 1946 by Jose Limon and Doris Humphrey to perpetuate the Limon legacy and its humanistic approach to movement and theater. Comprises the Limon Dance Company and the Limon Institute, an educational and archival resource centre reaching about 5,000 students a year. Its LimonPro and LimonLaunch training terms teach Limon Technique and Limon Principles and lead to a Limon Institute Certificate of Completion; the programmes are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance.
