National Heritage Body
Overview
Founded in 1976 by Catherine Turocy and Ann Jacoby, the company produces 17th- and 18th-century programmes from street performance to fully staged opera, works from period notation, and runs educational residencies reconstructing baroque and early-19th-century social and theatrical dance. A reconstruction and performance body; it governs nothing and sanctions no competition.
