Overview
Indian examining institution whose dance page sets out an eight-year graded diploma structure -- Junior Diploma (years 1-2), Senior Diploma (years 3-4), Sangit Prabhakar (years 5-6) and Praveen/Sangeetacharya (years 7-8) -- offered in Kathak, Bharat Natyam, Manipuri/Odissi and Ravindra Nritya. Established in 1926 - the institution's own site states it was "Established on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri in the year 1926" - at 12 C, Kamla Nehru Road, Civil Lines, Allahabad.
