Nicole Fiore

Nicole Fiore is an American artistic roller skater and educator who transformed elite solo-dance competition into widely accessible online instruction. Growing up in Yorba Linda, California, in a multigenerational skating family—her grandparents, parents, aunts, and brothers all skated—Fiore began competing at four years old. During her competitive career, she performed under the name Nicole Leonard.

Fiore's discipline was artistic roller solo dance: pattern dances and free dance on quad skates, evaluated on edges, timing, carriage, turns, rhythm, and choreography. In 2007, USA Roller Sports selected Nicole Leonard to represent Team USA in junior world-class solo dance at the World Championships in Australia. That debut marked the beginning of a remarkable run: four consecutive junior world solo-dance gold medals from 2007 through 2010. The City of Yorba Linda honored her on its Athlete Wall of Fame in 2010. According to her official biography, Fiore earned five world medals and twenty-two national titles across her competitive career, including a senior ladies solo-dance bronze in 2012.

After retiring from competition, Fiore transitioned to coaching, choreography, and performance. She worked with top U.S. competitive skaters and appeared in projects she has described as involving music videos and commercials. She taught at Holiday Skate Center in Orange, California, building a reputation for precision and accessible instruction.

The 2020 pandemic accelerated a second transformation. Fiore expanded her YouTube instruction into a comprehensive remote-learning platform combining foundation courses, private lessons, choreography, workouts, and tutorials. Her stated approach emphasizes making skating approachable to beginners while maintaining pathways into artistic technique—preserving the discipline's balance, edge control, musical timing, and performance quality while translating it into language designed to keep new skaters engaged.

By 2026, Fiore's professional identity encompassed champion, coach, choreographer, content creator, and advocate for playful lifelong movement. Her public pedagogy isolates fundamentals—pushes, balance, transitions, struts, turns—and recombines them as musical phrases, making virtuosity legible without pretending advanced technique is effortless.
