The core Latin dance programme specialises in salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, tejana, norteña, banda, huapango, and more. Classes run daily for both kids and adults, with group and private options available 7 days a week. The studio specialises in taking absolute beginners and guiding them through every level of Latin social dancing. Your first class is free; you can join a Level 1 session on Sunday, Monday, or Thursday at 7:00 PM.
Beyond the core Latin programme, Kumbala hosts classes taught by independent instructors including hip-hop, heels, ballet for kids, Bollywood (for kids and adults), flamenco, Hawaiian, belly dancing, dance cardio, and martial arts. Exclusive classes are also offered by former Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Membership options allow students to take group classes up to 5 or 6 days per week, plus participate in special workshops and community events throughout the month. Private lessons are available with instructors Karla, Alix, and Irving for 1 person, couples, or groups. The studio has been featured on Mitu, Voyage Dallas Magazine, ShoutOut DFW, and NBC.
The 7,000+ sq ft facility is also available for rental by instructors and creatives for dance classes, team practices, private lessons, workshops, photoshoots, auditions, and private events including birthday parties, baby showers, and dance socials. The studio offers six rooms ranging from 175 to 2,580 square feet, priced from £15 to £90 per hour.
