About this studio
Airborne Dance Centre is a family-owned and operated dance studio in central Calgary with 25 years of experience. Located at 3400 14th Street NW, Unit #202, the studio is run by Artistic Director and Owner Candice Moseley and her team of certified instructors.
The studio serves dancers from ages 3 upwards through two main programmes. The Recreational Program caters to ages 3–14 with sessional and yearly options. The Company Program is open to ages 7 and up, offering 7+ hours of dance per week for more serious dancers. Both programmes are designed around the belief that dance is a journey of self-expression, growth and confidence, not simply movement.
Airborne's faculty includes industry professionals who hold advanced certifications: ADAPT Certified (Jazz & Tap), RAD Certified (Ballet), and Acrobatic Arts Certified. The teaching team consists of Melodie McKee, Sarah Dolan, Caralee Lamoureux, Paige Moseley, Rachel Jensen, Charlotte Lowe, and Shianne Elliott, all supported by guest faculty members Joey Matt, Emily Boorman, Katie Booth, and Sabina Zhetpissov. Staff continue their own education through classes, workshops and certification programmes.
The studio runs regular auditions for competition-bound dancers and hosts mandatory company workshops. Upcoming auditions in June 2026 are structured by age and experience level, with costs of $40 per dancer. The studio's core values are integrity, passion, community, excellence and commitment. Their mission is to foster confident, hard-working, good-natured dancers in a safe and healthy environment where individual talents develop to their fullest potential.
