About this studio
All About Dance has been teaching in Swampscott for over 21 years. The studio serves dancers aged 2½ to 18 across preschool, recreational, and competitive programmes, with beginner through advanced levels.
Preschool classes (ages 2.5–4) focus on age-appropriate ballet, tap, and creative movement in a nurturing environment. Recreational classes (ages 5–12) are designed for dancers of all experience levels who want to build confidence and friendship. Hip Hop classes run for ages 5–18 and centre on choreography, rhythm, and high-energy movement. The Company Program is for dancers ready for advanced technique, performances, conventions, and competitions.
The studio philosophy centres on building confidence, creativity, resilience, and friendships alongside dance skills. The environment is described as family-centred and encouraging, with instructors who create a positive space for every dancer to learn at their own pace.
Beyond classes, All About Dance offers private lessons, birthday parties, Girls Night Out events, and an AAD Rhythm Boosters programme. They hold recitals and run a Summer Fun programme. A Spring Session is also available.
