She has won the Top Teacher Award four times at Crown Cup competitions and brings 17 years of professional instructor experience to her teaching.

Amalia's credentials are extensive. She is a certified judge (Category 2, ADSF), an Armenian National Champion in Latin and Ballroom Dancing, and appeared on Dancing with the Stars (Armenia, Season 5). She has coached Armenian National Champions in the Latin American Junior 2 category (14–15 years old) and has trained five students who went on to win Top Male Student awards at Crown Cup events. She was also named Top Local Teacher of Year 2022 in Dubai.

Her teaching covers Tango, Ballroom (including Waltz), Latin dances (Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba), and specializes in wedding dance choreography. She works with couples, singles, and children, tailoring bespoke plans to each student's ability and goals. Amalia is known for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where students feel supported through their learning journey.

Beyond regular classes, Amalia organizes social nights for Ballroom and Tango dancers—described as "the talk of the town"—where students can perform, meet other dancers, and build community. She also offers wedding dance preparation, creating choreography for couples of all skill levels. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes feeling the music, communicating with partners, and building confidence through positive, pressure-free instruction.

Reviews consistently praise her professionalism, patience, and ability to work with absolute beginners. One couple noted they had visited three dance studios before finding her; another described improvement as "instant" after over two years of study.
