Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Chicago is located at 116 W Illinois St in downtown Chicago and has been teaching dance for more than 100 years as part of the Arthur Murray network. The studio offers lessons customized to your goals and schedule, whether you're learning for social dancing, competition, or a special occasion.
The studio teaches Ballroom, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm, Swing, Country Western and Salsa. You can take lessons as a single (no partner needed) or as a couple. Wedding dance packages are available, with specific choreography for first dances and options for bridal parties and parents. Competitive dance lessons are also offered for those pursuing ballroom dancing as a hobby at a higher level.
Classes are taught step-by-step at your own pace, with lessons available during the week (Tuesday to Friday, 12 PM to 9 PM) and Saturday mornings (10 AM to 5 PM). The studio is closed Sundays and Mondays. New students can book a $50 first lesson and consultation to explore what the studio offers with no obligation.
The mission is to provide a high quality dance experience in a nurturing environment. The studio believes that learning to dance improves health, deepens relationships and increases joy and passion for life. Gift certificates are available for any occasion.
