What to expect
Your first visit
Classes are age-graded rather than mixed, so a child joins the group for their years and progresses with it. The youngest groups begin at the barre with basic exercises and ballet terminology, then short choreographies. From 9-11 the barre and centre work get harder and turns and larger jumps appear; at 12-14 the work becomes more precise and pointe is introduced. Adult classes run separately, classical and contemporary. The studio is on the first floor of the rear building at Hanauer Landstrasse 138.

Who teaches here
Olga Leibrandt founded the studio in 2019 and teaches the children's and youth ballet classes; she trained at the State Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow and at the Ballet Academy in Chisinau, and holds a German state certification as a ballet instructor. Olga Stoehr teaches the adult contemporary and classical classes on Thursdays and Fridays. Antonia Philipps-Kruschel teaches selected children's and adult classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
