About this studio

Club Céronne is the dance division of ETV Hamburg e.V., based at Bundesstraße 96 in Hamburg. The club runs a comprehensive programme spanning competitive ballroom and Latin dancing, contemporary dance teams, solo formations, cheer dance, and recreational group classes.

The competitive side is substantial. Adults train across Standard and Latin at multiple levels—Turnier D/C Klasse, Turnier B-S Klasse, Vorturnier levels—with separate sessions for pre-tournament preparation and supervised practice. Teenagers (ab 15 Jahre) have dedicated Standard and Latin classes. The club runs two contemporary teams competing in regional and state leagues: BENU (Regionalliga) and PHOENIX (Landesliga). Formation dancing is offered both as Latin formation (a partnership with VfL Pinneberg) and through the All Girls Soloformation, which fields A and B teams. Cheer Dance is a newer addition, with teams called Cadettes and Sailorettes now part of the club.

For recreational dancers and those without a partner, Breitensport Standard & Latein classes run regularly, alongside Tanzkreis (dance circle) sessions at Advanced level. Latin Basic classes serve youth and adults. Children and teenagers have their own track: Tänzerische Früherziehung (dance training) for ages 2–4 years, and Standard & Latein classes for ages 6–14.

The club hosts regular social events. TanzBar nights run most Saturdays from 20:30 to 00:30, and a Milonga is held monthly (visible on the August calendar at 21:00–02:00). The major annual showcase is Night of Dance 2026, scheduled for 19–20 September, featuring Publikumstanz (audience participation dancing), invitation tournaments at S level in Latin and Standard, and a DJ and show programme. The Hanseatic Solo Festival, co-hosted with VfL Stade, takes place 22–23 August 2026 at Sportcampus Stade.

Training takes place mainly at the Tanzsaal Céronne, with some sessions at partner venues including Halle Wagenkamp, Halle Hartsprung, Grundschule Eduardstraße, ETV-Sportzentrum Hoheluft, and Rübekamphalle in Pinneberg. Classes run from mid-afternoon through evening, with some late-night practice slots. The club offers workshops—for example, a Basic Workshop Slowfox was scheduled in September. Members have access to an Alter Kraftraum (old gym) for fitness, with conditions posted on the schedule.
