About this studio
SWING AWAY is a Lindy Hop and swing dance school operating across seven locations in Hamburg (Mitte, Altona, Eimsbuttel, Nord and Wandsbek). Running since 2016, it offers private lessons, courses and workshops for beginners through advanced dancers in Lindy Hop, Swing, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, Shim Sham, Boogie Woogie and Rock and Roll. The programme spans taster sessions, crash courses, beginner workshops and private lessons for individuals and couples, with offerings aimed at singles, couples, adults, seniors and students.
What to expect
Your first visit
Beginners need no prior experience and no partner. All you need is comfortable shoes, light clothing and a willingness to try something new. Free taster sessions run daily, and beginners can join courses on a rolling basis.
