Continental Dance Club is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club built around ballroom dancing every Sunday evening at the Starlite Ballroom. The club has been bringing adults together through dance, music, and community since 1955.
Every Sunday, doors open at 5:45 pm. A beginner lesson runs from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (included with admission), followed by general dancing from 7:15 to 9:30 pm. Intermediate lessons are also available for an additional $5.00 and are taught by professional instructors. The August schedule shows Oliver Saxon teaching intermediate Nightclub 2 Step and Ben Davis teaching beginners, with music provided by popular local DJs including Roger Greenawalt, Monica McClurg, and Cary Pettit.
You don't need a partner to attend. The club's philosophy is that everyone dances with everyone — that's how all dancers improve. Beginner-friendly instruction means no experience is required; instructors will have you moving in no time. New dancers are always welcome, and the atmosphere is casual and pressure-free.

What to expect
