About this studio
Le Danse Ballroom Club has been teaching couples ballroom dance under the same ownership since 1978. They use what they call an interrelated system of instruction, which teaches the relationship between dances, patterns, and dance concepts. The studio says this is the fastest way to help couples become good, confident, comfortable and versatile social dancers. They have taught thousands of couples using this system.
You can choose from Swing, Tango, Foxtrot, Samba, Salsa, Waltz, Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba, Merengue, Hustle, Bolero, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Paso Doble, Jive, Peabody, and Argentine Tango. All instructors have over 20 years of teaching experience and continue to pursue in-depth ballroom dance and movement training.
Private lessons are available Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:45 PM (Friday slots until 7:15 PM). Group classes run Friday at 7:15 PM, and there are Dance Practice Parties every Friday from 8 PM to 9:15 PM. The studio is closed weekends. Their Social Ease program is described as the most popular for newcomers. During private lessons and group practices, you'll work on the dance elements needed to become a good dancer and partner. Progress checks near the completion of each program ensure you've learned the dances you've chosen.
The studio describes their teaching approach as one where you choose the dances and direction you wish to go in your dance program. They use an awards-based teaching system designed to help you set definite and attainable dance goals. On your first lesson you'll learn the basic steps on which all dance patterns are based. The studio advises keeping lessons as close together as possible—coming weekly—so you don't forget between lessons and learn faster. Within a few lessons you should be ready to attend studio practice dance parties, which serve as a bridge between lessons and dancing on your own.
A Showcase event is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
