About this studio
DanceLab by Olga Spezia is Zurich's first heels dance studio, founded in 2021. The studio specializes in heels dance, Strip Plastique (floor work choreography with acrobatic elements), and active stretching classes designed for women of all levels, with particular emphasis on absolute beginners.
The studio offers five main class types. Beginner Classes (the Foundation Course) run for 4 weeks, once a week, designed for women who have never danced before. Heels Dance classes focus on balance, control, and presence in stilettos, working on posture and confidence that translates outside the studio. Strip Plastique is described as one of the rarest dance styles in Europe; DanceLab's teachers are recognized specialists in this style. Stretching classes use active stretching techniques to build flexibility and strength. Private Classes offer one-on-one attention, typically in 5-class bundles, with choreography created around your specific goals, often concluding in a video shoot.
The studio runs Autentiq Dance Projects for women ready to perform—shows, video shoots, and stage opportunities. The studio also organizes workshops, intensives, video projects, and heels dance camps in Mallorca.
Classes are registered and managed through the Eversports platform. The studio operates on a membership model rather than single drop-ins, with the understanding that consistent attendance builds the experience intended. Cancellations require at least 6 hours' notice to return credits to your membership. Maximum class size is 12 women per group. The studio is located on the 2nd floor of Thurgauerstrasse 117, showroom 253, in Opfikon (greater Zurich area).
What to expect
Your first visit
You'll join a small group of women (max 12) in a room designed for no judgment and no competition. For beginner classes, everyone in the room is starting exactly where you are. Registration happens online through Eversports; classes work on memberships rather than single drop-ins. You'll be asked to bring appropriate footwear (stilettos for heels, platform shoes and knee pads for Strip Plastique, comfortable clothes for stretching).
