About this studio
EDAC is a dance school in central Lyon teaching classical ballet, contemporary and modern jazz. The school serves both children and adults, with structured pathways from beginner through to professional training.
For children, classical ballet classes begin from age 4. The school organizes teaching in cycles, allowing progression through age-appropriate levels. There are also youth and adult classes in classical ballet, contemporary dance and modern jazz. Alongside regular courses, EDAC runs workshops and intensive stages during the school holidays, including a stage de la rentrée (back-to-school intensive).
The school offers professional training pathways, including danse-études (dance studies) programs and a formation professionnelle (professional formation) with E.A.T. qualification. There is also an open ballet class available to students. A danse-loisir (recreational dance) option serves those seeking classes without the competitive or professional commitment.
Enrolment for the 2026–27 season is open. The school allows flexibility in scheduling; you can create a timetable suited to your needs by contacting them directly. Registration requires a signed inscription form, payment for the full annual subscription by cheque, and a registration fee (€50 for children, €40 for adults). Online registration is also available.
