Faces Nightclub

Faces Nightclub has anchored Sacramento's LGBTQ+ nightlife since 1985, making it the largest and most established gay venue in the city. Located at 2000 K Street in Midtown, the club spans multiple distinct dance rooms, each with its own character and music style: a hip hop and R&B room in the rear, a circuit music room in the middle (with country and line dancing before 11pm on weekends), and a techno and house dance floor in the front expansion area. The Main Room features the largest dance floor with music by resident DJs and exclusive performers nightly.

The venue layout includes an upper mezzanine and VIP area where you can relax with a drink and overlook the Main Room dance floor or pool patio. The upstairs features a martini bar station, and the upper patio overlooks a pool. Multiple bars throughout the club serve the different rooms, and there are cozy lounging areas alongside the dance spaces.

Faces runs a consistent weekly event calendar: Monday Service (9pm–1:30am), Tuesday Karaoke (9pm–1:30am), Noche Latina Martes (9pm–1:30am), Wednesday Dance Party + Karaoke (9pm–1:30am), and Thursday Song & Dance (9pm–1:30am). Happy Hour runs 4pm–8pm Monday to Friday. The club also hosts special performances and meet-and-greets with nationally known drag performers and entertainers from the LGBTQ+ industry.

The atmosphere is explicitly designed as a safe, inclusive space celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, though straight couples have increasingly become common, particularly on Friday nights. The club accepts cash and standard credit card payments. Admission is by door fee, which varies depending on the night and occupancy; cover charges are typically higher on weekends.

Open 8pm–2am Monday to Saturday and 3pm–2am Sunday, the club greets you with pulsating music and colorful lights across multiple themed rooms. Bring valid government-issued ID that can be scanned at the door; only small handbags and shoulder bags are permitted.
