About this studio
Flamenco Works, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, built on three pillars: the School, the Company, and the Festival.
Its mission is to empower youth to reach their fullest potential through Flamenco education and to create visceral, cutting-edge Flamenco art. The school offers personalized Flamenco dance classes for both youth and adults, with a curriculum that runs from introductory classes through professional levels and is designed to uplift each student's unique gifts.
The organization presents performances in partnership with its resident company, Jesus Munoz Flamenco, at its intimate theatre in the heart of Downtown Albuquerque and on tour across the country. It also produces Fiesta Flamenca Burquena, a free, primarily outdoor Flamenco festival dedicated to cultural appreciation and connection through music and dance.
