About this studio

Happy Hours is a dance school and events venue in Hannover with over 33 years of experience. They teach Discofox, Gesellschaftstanz (ballroom), Linedance, HipHop, Zumba, Mobility-Yoga, and Streetdance for kids and adults. The school positions itself as an experience-focused studio where the emphasis is on enjoyment and community as much as technique.

Pair dances are central to their offering. Discofox courses start every month at multiple levels: Grundkurs (Level 1), Aufbaukurs (Level 2), Besser tanzen (Level 2+), and Figuren (Level 3). Gesellschaftstanz (ballroom) courses run every 8 weeks with beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. They also offer a Hochzeits-Crashkurs (wedding crash course) for couples. The school matches solo students with dance partners when needed.

Solo styles include modern Linedance with both beginner workshops and weekly training Monday to Friday, HipHop for adults, and Zumba. For fitness-focused dancers, Mobility-Yoga and Zumba classes run weekly with flexible scheduling. The Nur-1-Tanz (N1T!) workshop format offers 60-minute intensive sessions focused on a single dance style.

Kids and youth can take Streetdance classes, taught by Jeton (Jet-One), who founded the Jet-One Dance Studio with a focus on HipHop and Breakdance. Fit & Dance classes are also available for adults. A free trial class (Kostenfreies Probetraining) is available for prospective students.

Beyond classes, Happy Hours runs a Freizeitclub (leisure club) for singles and couples aged 29–79, organising social meetings, parties, exhibitions, cultural outings, sports activities, brunches and cook-alongs, cycling and hiking tours, and day trips. The venue hosts parties where students can showcase what they've learned.

The location functions as a full events centre with four hall options, a biergarten, bar and BBQ, accommodating 20 to 200 people. They provide DJ, decoration, catering, seating, music and lighting systems for private parties, corporate events, family celebrations and other functions. Studio space is available for rent at affordable rates for independent trainers and course providers.
