About this studio
Tanzakademie Hannover-Neustadt teaches dance across two locations — Hannover and Neustadt — with a focus on classical ballet and contemporary forms. They offer tänzerische Früherziehung (dance introduction for young children), Kinderballett (children's ballet), Ballett für Erwachsene, Modernes Ballett, Contemporary, Modern, and Jazz. The academy explicitly welcomes late starters and those returning to dance: they run dedicated Späteinsteiger (late-beginner) classes and Anfänger mit Vorkenntnissen (beginner with prior experience) groups.
Their philosophy centers on teaching dance "in its pure form" to both children and adults. The academy runs workshops at irregular intervals on various themes. Members receive a free online training session on Saturdays focused on stretching and conditioning. A recent Contemporary workshop featured instruction by Jasmine. The next teaching cycle carries the theme "Expand your dance".
Class schedules are structured across both locations. In Hannover, Contemporary classes run Tuesdays 17:25–18:25 for ages 10+, and Ballett für Späteinsteiger is offered Fridays 18:00–19:00. In Neustadt, Ballett für Anfänger mit Vorkenntnissen meets Fridays 17:30–18:30. The academy has recently expanded its adult and teen offerings in response to high demand.
First visits are accessible: two trial classes are free. Prospective students should register for trial sessions by phone or email. The academy operates a fanshop and maintains an active online presence.
