About this studio
Girls Hub is a dance studio and women's community founded in 2022 by Ira, who moved to Dublin from Ukraine seeking safety and connection. What began as a personal mission to build community has grown into a thriving space where over 3,000 women from different countries, ages, and body types have trained together.
The studio teaches high heels, twerk, and commercial dance across all levels. Beginner classes start from zero with step-by-step instruction in basic movements and technique. Intermediate and advanced options are available for dancers with 2–3 months or 6+ months of experience respectively. The studio also offers an Intermediate Acro Heels course that introduces beginner-level acro elements safely and progressively. Courses typically run 1–6 weeks, with class sizes kept small to ensure individual attention and feedback.
Instructor Ira teaches most courses, including High Heels at beginner, beginner+, intermediate and acro levels, as well as Commercial dance for beginners. Co-instructor Anhmaa teaches twerk. Classes are held at Liffey Trust Centre, 117-126 Sheriff Street Upper, North Wall, with multiple studio rooms available.
Beyond structured courses, Girls Hub runs pop-up open classes on specific dates, theme-based workshops (including a Burlesque Performance Class), and intensives—multi-day deep dives into style and technique. The studio organises community events including karaoke nights, offsite stretching sessions, after-class sit-ins and parties. Girls Trips are multi-day outings to different cities and countries for members. Special events like hen parties and birthday celebrations can be tailored to your request.
A trial class costs €15. Beginner courses are typically €65–85 for 4 weeks; intermediate courses around €100. Professional video recordings of choreography are included after most courses. The community also operates online courses, including Step Into HER (an online heels course for complete beginners) and choreography breakdowns available anytime. You can join the students' WhatsApp chat to stay connected and feel the studio's atmosphere.

Studio history
Founded in 2022 by Ira, a Ukrainian immigrant who moved to Dublin seeking safety. After just six months of teaching experience in Ukraine, Ira began calling studios in Ireland and faced rejection until a twerk instructor offered help, renting a studio for her first month. In 2023, Ira left university to focus entirely on building Girls Hub. Today, the studio has served over 3,000 women and continues to grow as a thriving women's community.
