About this studio
Hip Hop Lyon has been teaching hip-hop dance in the Lyon area since 2007. The school is now based in Villeurbanne and offers classes across multiple styles: hip-hop for children and teenagers, hip-hop for adults, hip-hop salsa, house dance, and afro dance. You can learn both old school and new school hip-hop movements, techniques and attitude.
The studio caters to all levels, from beginners through to experienced dancers. Children can start from age 7. Throughout the year, Hip Hop Lyon also organises workshops with international dancers and choreographers, as well as evening events.
Classes run Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 22:15, and Saturday to Sunday from 10:30 to 18:15. The studio is located at 39B Rue Flachet in Villeurbanne. You can reach them by phone or by email.
Bob-H teaches regular courses, while Gyom Demba leads the workshop stages. The school describes itself as an association that brings together experienced and passionate dance teachers.
