About this studio
Loren James Dance Company teaches ballroom, Latin, salsa, sequence, street and hip hop in South Wales, marketing itself to the Cardiff area. Classes run for adults and children across skill levels, from first-timers to dancers training seriously, and the school also runs formation teams - choreographed group routines that rehearse and compete together, which is the part that distinguishes it from a general class timetable.
The school describes a record of national and regional championship titles and appearances in televised dance competitions. Booking is online.
What to expect
Your first visit
Classes are grouped by style and by level rather than run as a single mixed session, so the first step is choosing which of ballroom, Latin, salsa, sequence, street or hip hop you want and whether you are joining an adult or a children's group. Booking is done online rather than by turning up. If you are interested in competing or performing rather than social dancing, ask about the formation teams - they rehearse as a fixed group.
