About this studio
MésQueSwing is a swing dance school in Barcelona's Poblenou neighborhood, based at Teatre l'Aliança del Poblenou. They have more than 10 years of experience teaching swing to all levels.
Classes run weekly for 90 minutes. Beginner courses start in September, with levels for complete beginners from zero upwards. Beginner-level classes are scheduled on Tuesdays 18:00–19:30, Tuesdays 19:30–21:00, and Thursdays 19:30–21:00. Trial classes are available. The teaching team covers both solo and partner work, aiming to build confidence and enjoyment.
Beyond group classes, they offer private lessons for one or two people, which they describe as very effective. They also run wedding choreography packages: you can learn a full routine in five classes to perform at your wedding.
MésQueSwing organizes social dancing events, jams and concerts where you can practice. They host open-air social dances on the beach and in local venues across Poblenou. They also provide event entertainment: open Lindy Hop or Solo Jazz classes for your guests, live performances and choreography demonstrations, or full social dance events with a live band or DJ. Team-building and private group events are available too.
