About this studio
Madhouse Dance is a dance fitness studio founded by Olivia Kingston in May 2021 on Morena Boulevard in San Diego. The studio grew from Olivia's idea in January 2020, when she realized she loved to dance but had no real dance experience and didn't feel welcome in traditional technique-focused studios. She began teaching outdoor silent-disco dance cardio classes in late 2020, teaching for free while gathering feedback from friends and early clients. With the opening of the Morena Blvd studio came the introduction of Redroom®, now the studio's most popular class series.
Madhouse's class lineup centres on Dance Cardio, described as the "OG high intensity dance workout" that gets your body moving and heart pounding. The signature Redroom® series includes Redroom® Dance Cardio (a high-intensity twerkout), Redroom® Twerk & Tone (low-impact, chair-based toning), Redroom® Chair Choreography, and Redroom® Heels. There are also Spicy Choreography classes open to all genders. All classes are beginner-friendly with low-impact modifications always available.
