About this studio
My Dance Studio sits in Marseille's 1st arrondissement, two minutes from the Vieux-Port and Canebière. The studio teaches four urban dance styles: commercial (clip-style choreography to current hits), heels (posture, control and confidence in heels), street ragga (ragga and dancehall grooves with street energy), and street jazz (jazz technique with urban swagger). Classes run across all four styles at all levels.
The studio describes itself as a safe place with zero judgment, where you find your own pace. Instructors—including Yamin, who appears prominently in recent reviews—are described as passionate teachers who combine pedagogy with energy. Google reviews consistently mention welcoming atmosphere, instructor attentiveness, and visible progress: recent reviewers (December 2025) praise the studio's "fun atmosphere and kindness", instructors being "attentive to all students" and "patient", and the confidence gained through stylish choreography.
Class scheduling runs Monday to Friday 18:00–22:00, Wednesday 14:00–22:00, and Saturday 11:00–18:00; the studio is closed Sundays. Monthly packages range from discovery (€49 for 1 class per week) through regular (€62 for 2 per week), intensive (€74 for 3 per week), and unlimited (€95 for unlimited classes). All prices exclude a one-time €15 membership fee. Trial classes cost €18 and are deducted from your first monthly payment if you join a package with commitment. Students and RSA recipients receive a 10% discount on committed plans. Membership is offered with or without engagement, and members receive a personal QR code that never expires.
The studio has run a summer program (Summer Dance Class, July–August, Edition 4) offering commercial and heels classes from €49 upwards. Google rating is 4.9 from 38 reviews.
