Ochos is a cocktail and wine bar in downtown Boise that hosts regular salsa and bachata dancing on Friday nights. The venue occupies a Queen Anne style building constructed in 1892, which the owners retrofitted to house a fully operational bar with industrial and old-world touches.
The upstairs space is dedicated to dancing, featuring a beautiful hardwood floor and comfortable lounge seating. This is where the Friday night dance gatherings take place. The venue also has a multi-level patio with year-round seating, a fire bar, and a fire pit.
Ochos serves cocktails, wine, and small plates. The bar is 21 and older only. Reservations are available but not required. The venue is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4pm to 10pm, Friday from 4pm late, Saturday from 2pm late, and Sunday from 4pm to 10pm. It is closed Mondays.
