About this studio
Page Academy of Dance specializes in classical ballet training across all ages and skill levels. Their curriculum runs from Baby Ballet (ages 18 months–3½ years), which involves parents, props and music, through Pre-Ballet & Tap (ages 3½–5 and 5–9), and into graded ballet levels 1–5 plus Advanced Ballet for ages 12 and up. At levels 3 and above, contemporary ballet choreography is introduced alongside classical technique. The academy also offers dedicated Adult Ballet classes for beginners and intermediate dancers of ages 18+, structured around barre, center and across-the-floor exercises.
The studio's Advanced students have the opportunity to perform professionally through a partnership with Tau Dance Theater, a sister school. Pointe work is integrated into the Level 4 program for students aged 10–15 with sufficient experience, with emphasis on correct foot and body alignment.
Every class aims to give best instruction possible, helping each student reach their full potential and appreciate the art of dance. The academy offers a 2-Week Intro Program including ballet shoes for $39.99, designed to help new students find their level. Those unsure where to start can request an in-class evaluation to be placed in the best program for their current level.
Page Academy of Dance is located at 3478 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816. You can reach them by phone or email.
