About this studio

Para La Salsa is a dance and wellness school in the heart of Paris's 5th arrondissement, located at 8 rue de Bièvre. The studio has more than 20 years of experience and offers courses centred on wellbeing, with certified dance therapists and modern jazz-qualified instructors.

The school teaches dance therapy for adults, salsa cubana, and their signature Métis'danse© style. For children, there are creative dance and dance awakening classes for ages 4–6, modern dance for pre-teens and teenagers, and hip-hop for children and adolescents. Adult and senior classes cater to both beginners and experienced dancers. The studio also offers yoga and wellbeing courses, private lessons, and professional training in dance therapy and relaxation.

Classes are held across multiple rooms: Studio Bièvre (the main location), Studio Amyot at 3 rue Amyot, and a space at 25 rue de la Montagne Sainte Geneviève. The schedule for 2025–2026 runs across the week, with dance therapy sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings; creative movement for young children on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings; modern dance for teens on Wednesday; Métis'danse© during Thursday daytime hours; and hip-hop for adolescents on Thursday evenings. All courses follow the school calendar, with 32 weeks of instruction per year and breaks during school holidays.

Beyond regular classes, Para La Salsa offers bespoke services including corporate team-building sessions, EVJF (hen party) events, opening dances for weddings, wedding entertainment, and multi-day wellness retreats. The school also runs a professional training programme in dance therapy. Students participate in end-of-year showcases held at the Paris 5e town hall, where children and adults present their work to families.

The studio accepts ANCV holiday vouchers for designated association courses marked 'PLS' on the schedule. Contact is best made by email or by phone; the team also welcomes visitors by appointment at the studio.
