About this studio
Dance Central is run by Vineet Bangera, founder and principal instructor with almost 20 years of training experience. Bangera has represented India in more than 45 countries including Istanbul, Antalya, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Paris, Malaysia, Bangkok, Bali, Sydney, Dubai, Slovenia, Croatia, Oman, and Manila to promote talent on global stages. He personally conducts all Latin classes using an extremely methodical and systematic teaching approach with detailed breakdown of everything.
The studio teaches Salsa and Bachata in a step-by-step syllabus that is progressively structured by highly experienced faculty. Classes are designed for everyone from beginners to advanced dancers. The teaching philosophy centres on helping you understand dance as a language — not just steps and counts, but using your body to interpret the rhythm of music. At Dance Central, there are separate faculties for each dance form, ensuring all instructors are masters of their respective genres.
Classes offer more than dance instruction: students develop rhythm, timing, creativity, style, personality and confidence while staying in shape and meeting new people. No partner or prior dance experience is needed — most students enter as individuals, and partners are rotated throughout the class if needed. Learning timelines vary by individual, though students typically reach a confident social dancing level after 6–8 months of regular training.
Beyond classes, Dance Central runs Spicy Latin Socials — regular social dancing events documented as SLS 001 through SLS 004 (held on dates including 30th March, 13th April, 27th April, and 11th May 2024). These nights bring together the dance community for spontaneous social dancing. The studio also offers career pathways for students who wish to take their dance further.
