Powerhouse Studioz - Dance Studio Dubai

Powerhouse Studioz opened in 2022 through the vision of legendary instructor Suuraj Meena and Diipti Nikhhiil. Located in Al Barsha at Damac Executive Heights, the studio has quickly become known as Dubai's most instagrammable studio, with a 5.0 Google rating across 111 reviews.

The studio teaches a wide range of dance styles: Bollywood, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Salsa, Contemporary, Indian Classical, Ballet, Belly, and Indian Folk Dance (including Lavani, Garba, Bhangra, and Ghoomar). Dance Fitness and Yoga are also offered. Classes run on a drop-in basis — you sign up for and attend individual sessions from the daily schedule. Both in-person and livestream options are available, as well as on-demand classes.

Programs span all ages and experience levels. Kids' dance classes are specially designed to promote health and fitness through movement, channelling children's energy in a resourceful way. Adult classes are customized for working professionals, offered at corporate timings to ease hectic schedules. The studio also runs seasonal dance camps for kids.

For serious dancers, Powerhouse offers private one-on-one lessons and an intensive program designed to advance technical skills and improve overall dance vocabulary. Students who excel in the intensive program are invited to join the Powerhouse dance team and can participate in national and international events with Mr. Suuraj Meena.

Beyond classes, the studio provides wedding dance choreography services — first dance choreography, couple dance lessons, group dance lessons for weddings (groups ranging from 4 to 50 people, with choreography adapted so all levels can participate), and professional dance performances for events. Powerhouse also offers commercial dance shoot services, with founder Suuraj known for creating choreography structures in 30 minutes. The professional dance troupe performs in styles including salsa, western, contemporary, hip hop, Sufi, Bollywood, belly, and classical at cultural festivals, birthdays, private parties, college fests, annual meets, corporate events, university gigs, sports events, and weddings across the United Arab Emirates.

Drop in for a class at any level from the daily schedule. Sessions include a warmup and stretch, then instruction-turned-dance-party. No prior dance experience is required; the focus is on enjoyment and self-expression, though students are encouraged to develop their technique and style to their full potential.
