About this studio
Salsa Prisiri teaches salsa and bachata in Den Haag with over 100 students based in Mariahoeve. The studio runs group classes at three levels — beginners, intermediate (half-gevorderd) and advanced (vergevorderd) — alongside private lessons available by appointment.
Salsa classes run on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Bachata is taught on Friday at 19:00 as an open-level class. The emphasis across both styles is on connection, musicality and building confidence through small-group teaching with personal attention. You don't need any prior dance experience to join; the studio's structured, paced approach is designed for absolute beginners as well as those looking to progress further.
Private lessons are offered one-to-one or for couples, and the studio highlights their use for wedding preparation and technical training. First-time visitors can book a free trial lesson. The studio frames dance as accessible to everyone — the website addresses common hesitations directly, including self-doubt about rhythm or commitment, emphasizing that small groups and personalized pacing mean you progress at your own speed.
Student testimonials mention energy, community atmosphere and the welcoming feeling even for solo beginners. The instructor Izaak is named as patient and motivating. Classes are described by students as both enjoyable and educational, with the studio building a regular weekly habit for many.
