About this studio
Salsabachata Ventas is one of four locations run by Salsabachata, a dance school across Madrid that teaches salsa, bachata, kizomba, reggaeton, twerk, hip hop, pole dance, funky, dancehall, forró, afrobeat, lyrical jazz, heels style, and more. The Ventas location sits on Calle de Bocángel, 12, near Ventas and Manuel Becerra metro stations, and is described as the school's most recent addition—modern and welcoming.
The school runs over 50 classes daily across all four locations. You don't need a partner; the system rotates and balances followers and leaders so you always have someone to dance with. Classes are structured by level: Nivel 0 (Básico) for absolute beginners, Nivel 1 (Principiante) for those with foundations, Nivel 2 (Intermedio) for advancing technique, Nivel 3 (Avanzado) for refinement, and Nivel Único classes where everyone moves at their own pace.
You pay only for the classes you attend. Bonos come in packages of 10, 20, 40, or 60 classes, valid for 4, 6, 7, or 8 months respectively. The first class is free—no commitment, no monthly contracts. Classes cost from 4.75€ per class depending on the bono chosen.
The school employs over 40 professional dancers as instructors, including Álex Fraga Pontes Moreira, Angy Martos Rodriguez, Carlos Fernando Señaris Rodríguez, Cecilia García Brugarolas, David Piñol Martínez, Estefi Barbero, Jorge Martinez Escudero, Josymar Jimenez, Julio Cesar Marquetti Castaño, Keco Ocaña, Mónica De Felipe, Mónica Nuño Villén, Nico Salvador, Noemí Vela Pereda, Paayolina Molina, Ramón Chavez León, Yasmin De María Boix, and Valentín Soria. The school offers its own app where you can reserve classes, cancel, view class bundles, and contact other dancers. Classes are recorded so you can review your progress and repeat sessions.
Specific styles taught include Bachata (Dominicana, Lady Style, Men Style), Salsa (Cubana, en Línea, Pasos Libres, Lady Style, Salsa on 2 - Mambo, Técnica de Salsa), Kizomba, Twerk, Reggaeton, Forró, Timba Cubana, Afrobeat, Heels Style, Musicalidad en Salsa, Commercial Dance, Commercial Crew, Dancehall, Funky, Hip Hop, Lyrical jazz, Pole dance, Sexy Style, and Zumba.
