About this studio

SalsaEngland is one of Europe's leading salsa organisations, run by dancers for dancers across four locations: Abingdon, Bicester, High Wycombe and Wolverhampton. The company teaches far beyond salsa alone — their regular weekly classes cover New York Mambo On2 Salsa, Cuban La Rueda de Casino, Cuban Casino, Bachata and Chachachá, with exposure to Bachatango, Merengue, Boogaloo, Reggaeton, Kizomba, Charleston, Cuban Mambo, Lambada, Flamenco and Argentinean Tango.

At the Abingdon location (Conga Club, Conservative Club, 59 Ock Street), classes run every Tuesday with doors opening at 7.20pm. The Abingdon site is part of a network that also includes Wolverhampton's Bongo Bar (Mondays), Stokenchurch's Rumba Room near High Wycombe (Wednesdays), and Bicester's Mambo Room (Thursdays). All locations welcome beginners and more advanced dancers; you can simply turn up at 7.20pm.

Beyond weekly classes, SalsaEngland hosts monthly parties featuring fun classes with guest teachers and regular live bands. The next party is scheduled for Saturday 15th August 2026, with doors opening at 8pm and a class at 8.30pm. The company offers loyalty cards and beginners courses as part of its class packages.

Students consistently praise the patience and good humour of instructors, the great atmosphere and inclusiveness, and the friendly, daunting-free environment. SalsaEngland was the first Salsa Organisation in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the West Midlands to teach regular New York Mambo classes and Cuban Casino salsa.
