About this studio
soFly Social is Austin's only pole dance and aerial arts studio designed exclusively for adults. Located at 979 Springdale Road, Suite 112, the studio spans multiple rooms purpose-built for different disciplines. Room 101 is a 15-foot pole room with 8 poles. Room 102 is the aerial room with 17 feet of usable height for lyra, silks, and aerial pole. Rooms 201 and 202 form the largest pole and choreography space with 21 poles — the studio boasts one of the tallest ceilings in Austin with the tallest poles in the city.
The studio is woman-owned, POC-owned, and LGBTQ-owned. It is a nonprofit space deliberately built as a safe haven that embraces all bodies, religions, races, sexual orientations, and gender identities. The mission is to support, challenge, and nurture your movement journey as you discover internal and external strength.
Classes cover pole dance (including aerial pole, pole tricks, exotic pole, and pole & heels choreography), aerial arts (aerial hammock, lyra, and aerial silks), burlesque dance, fitness and conditioning, and flexibility and contortion. Private lessons are offered in 1-hour and 1.5-hour sessions for up to three students, with pricing starting at $100 per session for a single student, $150 for two, and $195 for three.
The studio hosts private parties for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and team building. Five party styles are available: pole dance party, chair tease party, BootyWerk twerk, burlesque party, and aerial party. Party pricing starts at $250 for up to 4 participants, with $45 per additional guest up to 20 total (aerial parties capped at 15 guests). Party features include a top-of-the-line Klipsch speaker system with customizable color lighting, celebration snacks, a satin-lined canvas gift pouch for the guest of honour, a spacious dressing room, and complete privacy in a dedicated room.
The studio offers space rentals for events. All aerial apparatuses and crash mats are professional-grade quality. Additional amenities include a unisex changing room, complementary essentials, daily cleaning, shared grip-aid for aerials, charging outlets, and free WiFi. Parking is free and plentiful at the front, side, and rear of the building. The location is on the Springdale Road side of the complex next to Bambino, marked with a soFly Social sign in the hallway.
