About this studio
Tango & Vous teaches Argentine tango at two locations: Espas Danse Studio in Paris 20ème (24 Villa Riberolle) and Espace Sorano in Vincennes (16 rue Charles Pathé). Classes run weekly on Mondays and Thursdays, with beginner sessions at 19h30–21h (Monday) and 20h30–21h45 (Thursday). Intermediate and advanced tango meets Mondays 21h–22h30 and Thursdays 21h45–23h. Monthly Saturday stages take place in Paris 20ème, offering technique and thematic workshops. Private lessons are available in Paris, Vincennes and Montreuil.
The school is run by Florencia and Jérémy. Argentine tango is taught as an improvised partner dance built on core sequences: the walk, el rebote, la baldosa, la salida, la salida 40, ochos, sandwich/mordida, ocho cortado, el giro, paradas and sacadas. Instruction focuses on the abrazo (embrace), musicality and the interplay between leader and follower. Beginner classes start from zero in September; mid-year joiners may be offered private lessons to reach group level. The school emphasises that tango is accessible to all—no prior dance experience or rhythm training is required, only the ability to walk.
Tango & Vous also runs tango holidays (séjours tango), online classes for students, and a partner-matching forum. The school holds no requirement for beginners to arrive with a partner; classes maintain parity between leaders (guideurs) and followers (guidés), with rotating partnerships during lessons. Trial classes are available year-round.
Beyond teaching, Tango & Vous offers corporate tango initiation, Argentine folklore, conferences and workplace workshops. The eventiel (events) service includes custom tango demonstrations and the theatrical tango performance 'Errances en Retour' (1h15). Bespoke performances are available. Yoga classes—Yin Yoga and Hatha Yoga—also run at Espace Sorano on Tuesdays (10h30–11h30 and 11h30–12h30).
