Classes are taught at Varsity Community Centre (4303 Varsity Drive NW) across three levels: Beginner (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), and Advanced (Level 3). The club teaches American and International ballroom styles, as well as social dances. Beginner classes cover basic steps in a variety of social dances. Classes meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with time slots from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. You don't need a partner to join—instructors rotate partners throughout class, and the club makes effort to balance leads and follows so everyone gets time to practice.
Beyond regular classes, the club runs Friday night workshops for intermediate and advanced dancers, plus skill-specific workshops on dances like Two Step and Country Waltz. Monthly theme dances and Saturday night social dancing allow you to practice what you've learned in a social setting. The club also hosts semi-formal dinner and dance events and the Primavera Ball, plus newer socialize-and-practice sessions.
