Danzar Latino focuses on authentic Latin dance—Salsa (Casino/Cuban, LA on 1, Mambo on 2, Cali style, Cumbia), Bachata (Dominican and Moderna), Afro Cuban rhythms and Cuban Rumba (Rumba Guaguancó, Yambu, Columbia, Orishas/Yoruba, Congo styles including Yuka, Makuta, Palo Monte and Pilon), plus Son (Tradicional and Montuno). They also teach Hip Hop, Funk, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Michael Jackson signature moves and choreography, and niche styles like Cha Cha (Cuban and fusion) and Argentine Tango (Salon). Social dancing covers Swing (Lindy hop, East coast swing, Charleston, social Jive and Rock N Roll), Social Ballroom (Foxtrot, Waltz and Viennese Waltz), and Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and Jive.
Wedding dance is a speciality. With over 16 years of experience, the team creates personalised choreography for first dances, father-and-daughter dances, bridal party entrances and full performances. All new couples get a free one-hour consultation lesson. Wedding packages start from $330 for 3–4 lessons (Simple & elegant) through to $1,425 for 15+ lessons (Epic showstopper). All packages include personalised choreography, music editing, free video clips, free wedding dance group classes and free studio hire to practise.
