The Wedding Dance Studio

The Wedding Dance Studio specializes in teaching couples to dance confidently for their wedding day. Since 2005, they've taught thousands of couples custom choreography for their first dance — whether a simple routine or a show-stopping performance. The studio welcomes all couples: bride and groom, bride-bride, groom-groom, father-daughter, mother-son.

Your first private lesson is completely free with no strings attached and no payment information required. You bring your song, and their instructors will show you what dance works for it. If you haven't chosen music yet, that's fine too. The studio offers music editing as part of their service, and they handle choreography, performance coaching, and video recording so you can review your steps at home.

Their instructors are trained specifically in teaching couples and know how to make learning simple and enjoyable. They teach women to dance beautifully and sensually if desired, and men to look confident and assured. The studio emphasizes that their instructors are experts who understand the unique pressures of learning a wedding dance, and they have a system that works. There are no contracts or sales pressure — you pay as you go, lesson by lesson, with flexibility to fit any schedule.

The studio operates seven days a week. Scheduling hours are Monday to Friday 10am–10pm, Saturdays 1–10pm, and Sunday 10am–3pm. They offer five wedding packages ranging from four lessons (Survival Package) up to 25 lessons (Jaw Dropper Package), with pricing from $82 to $68 per lesson depending on package size. Single individuals or those interested in casual, non-choreographed social dancing are referred to their sister studio, The Dance Shack.

Bring comfortable shoes that won't slide off (avoid flip-flops); closer to your wedding, practise in shoes similar to what you'll wear. Bring your music if you have it selected. Your instructor will show you how to dance to your song, teach you choreography tailored to your couple, and record video so you can review at home. You'll learn a complete entrance, choreographed routine, and exit.

Instructors receive training specific to teaching couples and are described as friendly, competent, and expert in their field. They know how to teach, not just dance, and can choreograph and teach you to dance to any music.
