Vibe Latina By Ruanita Santos

Vibe Latina is a Brazilian dance studio in Amsterdam led by Ruanita Santos, a movement researcher, educator, choreographer and co-creator of NeoZouk. The studio's approach is built on a simple principle: people don't need more steps, they need more understanding. Rather than teaching you to memorize and copy movements, Ruanita helps you understand how your body works through technique, biomechanics, musicality, connection and expression.

The studio offers weekly classes across multiple styles and levels. In partner dance, you can train NeoZouk at Foundations, Improvers and Intermediate III levels, alongside Bachata, Forró and Samba de Gafieira. For movement and conditioning, there are classes in Mobility, Wake-Up Pilates Fusion Mat for Dancers, and Strength & Conditioning for Dancers. Solo and Brazilian rhythm classes include Fit Dance (RhythMix with Brazilian Funk, Swingueira, Axé, Pagode & Hits Pop), Divas (Stiletto & Jazz Funk) and Samba no Pé.

Beyond weekly classes, Vibe Latina runs focused courses, intensives, workshops and special events. Private coaching is available for personalized guidance focused on your body, goals and individual development. Ruanita began teaching independently in 1998 and has explored ballet, jazz, tap, flamenco, tango, Brazilian rhythms, ballroom and social dances throughout her life. Her teaching philosophy centres on helping dancers understand their own bodies, make conscious choices and develop a way of moving that feels truly their own.
