Viva Dance Studio is a multi-location dance school across Rome offering Caribbean, urban, folk, and academic dance styles. The Tiburtina location at Spazio Tiburno (Via Tiburno, 33) is one of ten venues spanning the city: Boccea, Colle Salario, Pigneto Casilina, Pigneto Prenestina, Settebagni, Talenti (two sites), Tiburtina Monti Tiburtini, Tiburtina S. Maria del Soccorso, Trionfale, and Tuscolana Capannelle.

The school teaches salsa (Cuban, Los Angeles style, and Portoricana), bachata (Dominicana, Fusion, and Sensual), Brazilian Zouk, reggaeton, dancehall, hip hop, heels, folk styles (Folklore Cubano, Pizzica), country dance, ballroom and Latin American Standard, group dances, belly dance, and classical dance. Students can also access flexibility and wellness classes. Each class emphasises technique, interpretation, and both theory and practical application in a relaxed, playful atmosphere.

Instructors are FIDS–ASC–ENDAS-qualified professionals. The school runs weekly evening outings to major Roman dance venues and clubs where students practice and socialise. It regularly organises workshops and stages with national and international professionals, and stages shows (couple and group) of bachata and salsa performed at major national stages and festivals.

Competitive opportunities are central to the school: students participate regularly in local and national dance competitions, consistently placing well. The studio's origins trace to the second half of the 1990s when a group discovered salsa and merengue. First lessons are always free; call the studio to book.

You'll attend a class taught by a qualified instructor in one of ten Roma locations. The atmosphere is relaxed and social. Your first lesson is free. Most classes include theory and practical technique, followed by practice sessions at weekly evening outings to local clubs.
