17 Dance Place is an intimate specialty studio on Nuuanu Pali Dr in Honolulu, designed around personalised instruction. The studio's signature offering is Wedding First Dance lessons — private, one-couple sessions focused on choreography and routine work for your first dance. Beyond weddings, the studio offers private 1-on-1 sessions, couples classes, and small group classes (capped at five participants) in dance, movement, fitness, and self-care for all ages.

Galit, the owner and lead instructor, brings over 20 years of professional dance experience. She is a choreographer and performer who has worked in hundreds of productions worldwide — from dance theatre to television to touring with artists like Alicia Keys — and she has designed and taught dance classes across the United States, Central America, the Middle East, and Europe. Her dance background spans Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, and International Cultural Dance. Beyond dance, Galit holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Hawai'i and is a certified ABA therapist in Honolulu, which informs her approach to creating a supportive learning environment.

Class offerings span multiple age groups and fitness levels. Adult classes include beginner-intermediate dance, muscle toning and mobility, and babycarrying dance. There are separate groups for ages 8–14 and 15+ at both beginner-intermediate and advanced levels. Older adults and seniors have dedicated classes, including a couples option. Self-care and movement sessions are available by appointment. The small-group structure means the instructor can attend to each person's individual needs and work with you personally — something Galit emphasises as difficult to achieve in a standard large class.
