About this studio
Arkansas Circus Arts was founded in 2013 by Camille Rule, a Little Rock native and circus artist. The studio began as ReCreation Studios in downtown Little Rock on Main Street, then expanded in 2016 with business partner Rebeka Poland—herself a circus artist who founded Southern Lights Flow Retreat—and relocated to serve the North Little Rock area. The studio combines the strength and power of gymnastics with the expressiveness and elegance of dance.
The studio teaches over 65 classes a week across multiple disciplines: Aerial Silks, Aerial Hammock, Trapeze, Aerial Hoop (Lyra), Hula Hooping, Juggling, Flexibility, Contortion, Acro Dance, Pole Fitness, and more. Classes are structured by age and ability: Cirque Babies (18 months–3 years, parent-child), Preschool Cirque (3–5 years), KinderCirque (5–7 years), Youth Circus Arts (ages 6–18, recreational and elite levels), Adult Aerials (beginner through advanced), and Pole Arts (beginner through advanced). Many classes run throughout the week with multiple time slots to fit different schedules.
The studio's core values centre on safety first, creativity, commitment, community, and collaboration. You can start a trial class for $5 by calling the studio. Adult monthly class series cost $80–$85 for four classes (one per week), with prorated tuition if you join mid-month. Youth classes follow a similar pricing structure. The studio hosts an end-of-year Spring Recital in May where youth classes perform; a Winter Show for Elite, Pre-Professional, and Frequent Flyer students; and students may be invited to perform at community events depending on their level.
Beyond teaching, Arkansas Circus Arts offers professional entertainment for weddings, festivals, galas, corporate events, and conferences throughout Arkansas, surrounding states, and destination events. Their performers include aerialists, fire performers, stilt walkers, hula hoop performers, jugglers, acrobats, mermaids, disco ball dancers, and more with themed and costume options available. The studio also hosts birthday parties and studio parties for kids and adults, with aerial silks, aerial hammock, Lyra, aerial yoga, bungee dance and fitness, chair dance, and pole dance available for party groups.
The studio runs summer camps and intensive schedules in June and July, as well as a lighter after-school schedule during the summer months. Workshops and intensives feature guest instructors like Camille Swift (Femme Fénix), a Chicago-based circus artist with 15+ years' experience in static trapeze, dance trapeze, and aerial sling, and Katie Sunshine for hula hoop workshops. Pole workshops have covered heels choreography, shape exploration, pole drops, and musical theatre chair technique. The studio is a member of the American Circus Educators (ACE) and American Youth Circus Organization (AYCO).

Dress code
Youth: leotards, unitards, under armour style pants and shirts, leggings, or fitness bottoms—no loose clothing, no exposed midriff or legs when upside-down, no shorts, no jewelry, no zippers, no sequins. Adults (aerial/circus): same as youth. Pole: shorts, crop top, sports bra, or fitness top (less clothing is easier for tricks); no lotions, oils, or greasy substances on skin or hands; heels optional except in Foundations.
What to bring
Water bottle (required for all students; $1 bottles available for purchase). For aerial classes, bring grip aid such as chalk, dry hands, or rosin (Dry Hands available at front desk). Small towel and phone (optional, for recording yourself). Long hair must be worn up in a bun, braids, or up-do. Classes are barefoot; cubbies and lockers are available to store shoes.

Arkansas Circus Arts was founded in 2013 by entrepreneur and circus artist Camille Rule. The first studio was located in downtown Little Rock on Main Street under the name ReCreation Studios. In 2016, the studio expanded with business partner Rebeka Poland, a fellow circus artist who founded Southern Lights Flow Retreat, and relocated from downtown Little Rock to Maumelle Boulevard, later to its current location in North Little Rock.
