Bailando® - Deine Tanzschule für Salsa, Bachata und mehr in Köln

Bailando® is a dance school in central Cologne specialising in Latin and urban styles. Based at Moltke:höfe (entrance A, Moltkestraße 131), they teach Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, Samba and Hip-Hop across multiple levels.

Their course menu is structured and specific. In Salsa, they offer Basics, Cubana, Linea and Rueda de Casino. Bachata courses cover Basics, Dominicana, Moderna and Sensual. All styles are taught at Anfänger (beginner), Mittelstufe (intermediate) and Fortgeschrittene (advanced) levels. Courses run as closed groups, so you progress together without disruption.

First-time visitors can drop in to Salsa or Bachata Basics with no commitment (schnuppern — try before you commit). If you have dance experience, you can call to arrange a trial in a running course at the right level for you. The studio helps you find the right learning path during your first session.

Bailando® offers more than classes: Privatunterricht (private lessons), Hochzeitstanz (wedding dance), and Junggesellenabschied (bachelor/bachelorette parties) are available. They also run regular Salsa and Bachata parties and social events; members get free entry to studio socials and discounts on other events.

The studio accepts URBAN SPORTS CLUB memberships for open courses, and offers reduced rates for Schüler, Azubis and Studenten (students, apprentices and university students) — from €44.90 for a single subscription. You can pause your membership for up to two months per year if you give 14 days' notice.

You'll enter a studio in the central Moltke:höfe complex with dedicated dance rooms and about 15 parking spaces in the courtyard (€4 per hour until 6pm, then €5 flat rate). Beginners in Basics classes learn fundamentals in a group that stays together, with instructors helping you find your level. The atmosphere is welcoming and focused on getting you moving from day one.

Salsa and Bachata Basics welcome complete beginners with no commitment needed, and the studio helps place dancers with experience into the right level.
