About this studio
Ballroom Dance London runs adult ballroom and Latin classes at multiple London locations: Clapham (Fresh Ground Clapham Junction), Covent Garden (Pineapple Dance Studio), and Uxbridge (Brunel Uni Gym). Classes are designed for all ages and require no partner — you can bring a friend, a date, or come solo and dance with Alice, the instructor.
The regular class schedule includes Waltz (Wednesday 7.15pm at Clapham), Solo Latin (Wednesday 6.30pm at Clapham), Beginners Ballroom & Latin (Sunday 2.15pm at Covent Garden), and All Levels Ballroom & Latin (Thursday 8pm at Uxbridge). Classes are 45 minutes to 1 hour long. You learn a new style each class, ranging from Tango to Cha Cha Cha. A 6-week Intro to Ballroom course runs at Covent Garden on Sundays.
Wedding dance is a speciality. Alice offers private lessons (1 hour, price on booking) for first dances or to perfect your sway. You can commit to as many or as few lessons as you need, scheduled into times that suit you, at studios in Paddington, Ruislip, Battersea, and Covent Garden, or even in your own home. The approach is relaxed and fun; you leave with moves for dancing in the kitchen.
Beyond classes, there is a performance group open to all class attendees. You can dance solo or with a partner in show dances. Rehearsals happen in the 5 weeks before each performance; the next is Simply Ballroom Ball on 18 April 2026, with rehearsals on Sundays at 2.15pm in March.
Private lessons are also available for competition training and faster development. Gift vouchers are sold.
