About this studio

Company C Dance Club teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and tumbling to dancers ages 3 and up in Toledo. The studio operates multiple class levels to match different goals: recreational studio classes for beginners and intermediate dancers aged 3–13; Spotlight, a step-up programme for ages 4–10 exploring competitive dance; C2, an audition-based programme for ages 6+ seeking top instruction with less time commitment; and the full competitive Company for ages 6+, designed for dancers with aspirations toward college or professional dance.

The Flip Factory offers skill-specific tumbling training for ages 3 and up, tailored for dancers and cheerleaders. The studio also runs Twisters, a competitive cheer programme for grades K–6 combining weekly team practice and tumbling class, and Sparklers, a dance team and pom programme for grades K–6 (though Sparklers will not run in the 2026–2027 season).

Recreational studio classes are named by age and skill level: Sparkle & Shine Gems (age 3), Stars (age 4), Rubies (age 5), Diamonds (ages 6–8) and Ignite (ages 8–12). Each class focuses on fundamentals of ballet, jazz and tap in age-appropriate combinations. Hip hop classes at the Diamonds and Ignite levels teach freestyle movement to contemporary music. Tumbling classes work on skills including rolls, handstands, bridges, limbers, walkovers, cartwheels, aerials, handsprings, head springs, tucks, flexibility, strength and jump conditioning, with students progressing on their own terms within skill families rather than moving between classes.

The facility includes 6 dance studios with parent viewing windows, each equipped with raised sub flooring to reduce shock absorption and aid injury prevention. Students have access to a dancers lounge, homework room and changing area. Front desk staff are available Monday–Thursday, 5:00–7:00 pm. Online registration and payment are managed through a personal customer portal. Classes are split across two semesters per year, each with two payment dates; a $30 annual family registration fee applies. Private lessons are available in increments of 5. In the event Lucas County reaches a Level 2 weather warning or higher, classes are cancelled.

What to expect

Your first visit

Your first class starts with a friendly, safe environment designed to be creative and active. Placement is adjusted by instructors if they feel your dancer belongs in a different level. Arrive early so your child is mentally and physically prepared; arriving more than 10 minutes late is at the teacher's discretion, and more than 20 minutes late means sitting out.
